We currently offer the following Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA therapy) services delivered by a qualified and experienced team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), located in Sulphur, LA
Our EIBI clients typically attend services between 20-40 hours per week. EIBI can be appropriate for a variety of age ranges and it teaches a broad range of skills. Target skills include potty training, eye contact, speech, play skills, motor skills, school readiness, increasing independence, or address any skill deficit that would improve quality of life.
Social skills groups allow us the opportunity to generalize social skills taught in isolation to real world situations. Peers will work together to reach common goals, share items and objects, and engage in basic and advanced conversation skills.
Those individuals receiving an EIBI will transition to small group instruction at which point their intervention focus will shift to a more natural setting. This setting will allow learners to generalize early learner skills, social skills, and academic skills in situations that mirror those that our learners will experience in the real world.
The Missing Piece, Inc. staff offers individualized family and staff training delivered by experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Family training is an ongoing process whose focus shifts with the learner’s progress.
An EIBI typically consists of 20-40 hours per week of individualized instruction. Our EIBIs are conducted exclusively by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Individuals receiving an EIBI typically begin ABA therapy services at age 2-4 and continue for 1-3 years depending on their skill sets.
